We are a service-area business working across Bloomfield and thirty-seven further towns in New Jersey; work is carried out at the customer's property and we do not operate a public street address.

What we collect, and when

If you fill in the estimate form we collect the name, telephone number, email address, town, service type and description you type into it. That is the whole of it — there is no account to create and nothing is required beyond what the form asks for.

The form also records the marketing parameters that were attached to the link that brought you here, where any were present: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, and the click identifiers gclid, gbraid, wbraid and fbclid. Those tell us which advertisement or search a request came from and nothing about you personally.

If you call rather than write, we hold whatever you tell us on the phone, for the same reasons and for the same period.

What we do with it

We use it to answer your enquiry, to arrange and carry out the work, and to keep a record of what was done at your property in case you or a future owner needs it. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not pass it to anybody for their own marketing.

The form submission is transmitted to our booking system, which is operated on our behalf by our software provider. That provider processes the data only on our instructions and only for the purposes above.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are kept for two years and then deleted. Records of completed work — what was inspected, what was found, what was carried out and the photographs taken — are kept for seven years, because they are the document a customer, an insurer, a buyer or a buyer's attorney may need long after the visit.

Cookies and what this site loads

This site sets no cookies of its own and carries no analytics or advertising tag at the time of writing. If that changes, this section will be updated and dated before the tag goes live.

Exactly two elements here originate with Google. One is the embedded map of our Business Profile. The other is the typefaces — and those are pulled in when the site is built and then served from this domain, not from theirs. The map embed is a Google product and Google may set cookies through it; the rest of this site — every image, script, stylesheet and font — is served from this domain.

Your rights

Request a copy of what we hold, have it corrected, or have it erased. New Jersey residents have those rights under state law and we apply them to everybody who contacts us regardless of where they live, because operating two standards would be more work than operating one.

Children

Nothing here is aimed at children, and we do not knowingly take information from anyone under thirteen. If you believe a child has sent us something through this site, call (973) 604-5766 and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

Any change to this policy moves the date at the head of the page. Material changes — a new analytics tag, a new processor, a different retention period — will be described rather than folded silently into the text.
